I worked as an underground mining photographer for ten years. In the dark, with only the light of the machines or headlamps, spending hours trudging through ankle thick mud carrying my equipment in heavy muck boots with emergency gear strapped to my waist. I loved every minute of it. The blackness, the way the air moved.
I wrote a book celebrating 100 tonnes of ore.
In my 25 years I have done everything from mining to birth photography, real estate and marketing images.
